Alright, I had no idea what category to put this in, because where does scent go?

They do sometimes, but it's a hassle for them, and they get upset when I ask.
Thank you!

Awe =( I feel bad for you. My dad smokes a hell of a lot, but he's not allowed to do it in the house or else it'll stink up fucking everything.
You should tell them to smoke outside because not only is it bad for your heath (which they SHOULD care about since their your parents), but that it makes your stuff stink too.

Thank you! See, you guys have the right idea.
I know, I have told them. :(
My mom actually doesn't believe me, but my teachers have even noticed.

Omg , my parents do the exact same thing and many peers of mine have asked who smells like smoke and i become super embarrassed .
It is hard to just tell them to smoke outside.
I keep all my clothes in my room where i shut the door and have an air freshener .
I also wash my clothes in those bounty dryer sheets .
and you could always put on perfume or body spray after you leave the house.

burn incense! my clothes always smell like smoke, and they hang on a clothes rack in my room, so i burn incense next to the rack and the smell comes right out. plus then your clothes smell good without having to use perfume/body spray

Make them smoke those fancy new e-cigs. They'll be the coolest smokers in the cancer ward!

It's all of the fun of nicotine addiction with none of the pesky odor. How could you go wrong?

I used to have this problem when both my parents, and brothers, were about and smoked. I'd go to school every day and people would ask me if I smoked, or tell me that I smelled very strongly of it. The trick is just to wash clothes regularly, and as Mika W. said, to take clothes off when you get home and wear something else around the house when people smoke.

I used to live with my mom and my uncle, who were both chain smokers. I would always keep all my nice clothing in trashbags in my closet with potpourri, air fresheners, etc. in my closet and would spray my clothes once a day with Frebreeze. It helped loads
