What do you know about the country of the person above?

Tell anything you know about the above person's country. Anything at all - the funnier the better, and it even mustn't be true! Just your own thoughts, so prejudices will do just perfect! Just don't make it up for this but say something that's really from your head or memory.

Sorry, is just that it's happened to me so many times. Glad that you like Botero, I too am a fan of his work :) he recently opened a museum here in Bogota (Colombia) and its a huge collection of his that he just donated to the city. There are works by Dali, Picasso, Corot, Renoir, Estes, Chagall, Miro and many other great artists...oh and of course plenty of his work is there too :). Sorry if I appeared to sound a bit rude in my reply to you.

nono it wasn't a nice stereotype! I'm sorry!
That's really nice of him..lots of artists forget about their roots once they're famous. Good to know he still does nice things for his home :)

first thing, that comes to my mind is, definitely, ancient greece, white columns, palaces, beautiful sculptures, legends about gods and heroes, scientists, artists, and philosophers. then it's very warm there and the territory consists of a few seas (and i remember a legend about minotaurus, when they couldn't raise white sails and king Aegeus had thought that his son won't come back from labyrynth and thrown down to the sea). greek alphabet is pretty odd, because it's neither latin nor cyrillic. and, after all, financial crisis, i suppose, greece is the first country, which stands on an edge of default and things, and people don't like that government's politics of saving money.
before crisis greece was considered as the best place to rest for middle-class russians (not so overcrowded and cheap as turkey or egypt). and yes, in russia we love greek cheese and greek salad, though i don't know if there are some correlation with actual facts.
what about russia? but please don't say just 'cold', it's too common...

hehe how much you know. good. even though i don't think there are so many blond and blue eyed people in russia, native russians are rare now (look at me, huh) and it's easy to mix them up with similar nationalities, such as erzyan or mari, they are finno-ugric, look pretty russian though.
