I will be in Paris to have my wedding ceremony and honeymoon this coming December. I will be staying right across the street from the Eiffel Tower ( our hotel window has a PERFECT straight on view of the Eiffel herself! )
Since it will be fairly cold in December, what all do you LookBookian's wear in the streets of Paris?? I live in the south of the U.S. and we hardly have what is called winter, ha ha.
Also where are the best places to visit for a first time Art loving, Foodie, Party girl romantic such as myself?
I want to go to a discotheque or club of some kind, but where would you go, personally?
Where are the best vintage shops, or any shops rather, for great fashion?
Any fantastic photo locations that I might search for other than the obvious? I know this city will be beautiful, but as a first time visitor, can you pin point some locations for me?
I've asked for a lot! Any answers are appreciated! Thank you Lovelies!

Social Club is a great low-key discotheque/bar with great concerts-- near the Bourse metro stop! I went there every weekend when I lived in Paris; Justice and MGMT threw cheap concerts there after midnight. So fun! Around the Bastille metro stop is really fun at night, too. Hookah, dancing, etc. For a crazy night out I've heard Queen in the Champs d'Elysee is a blast. Definitely check out museums, duh-- outside of the obvious Louvre/Musee d'Orsay pairing, definitely check out Palais de Tokyo, which is not too far from where you're staying, I believe.
Check out the tour dates from your favorite bands... almost every band goes through Paris at one point or other, and sometimes you'll be surprised at how many American bands pass through at any given week! There are tons of concert venues, too.
From my experience, Parisians actually dress quite conservatively and practically, but with a lot of elegance and grace. Heels, yes, but always weather-appropriate: camel trenches in rain, black leather jackets for everything else. Everyone is quite stylish, but never over-dressed, and nobody looks too "done up." Not very many sneakers. Black black black. If the weather's nice, try biking around the city on the Velib (the Paris form of public transport); you'll see so much of the city, and it's pretty cheap!
Last thing: check out the Puces (flea market) outside the Port de la Clignacourt. Hugest, most awesome flea market I've ever been to! Bought the most amazing leather jacket there. Really unique stuff. Have fun and congrats, btw! :) Oh p.s. I also kept a travel blog when I lived there; it's not too long (from 2008 though, haha, hope the buildings are still around), but might be helpful if you're looking for things to do! enjoy: discontentparisienne.blogspot.com/

Atop the Sacre Coeur when you go to left there is an artist's square. You can see people painting and all that, but there was also a lovely jewelry shop the last time I went. Also, there is a sit down restaurant up there that is divine as well. Don't forget to go into the building or to ride the carousel at the bottom (;
