...the cigarette.

...the profanity in the look title.

...that the model was flipping me the bird in the photo.

...it was someone who said something nasty to me in the forums.

What are some of the things that have stopped you from hyping a look before? But I don't mean simply just passing it by. I mean, those looks where you stop scrolling and examine the picture for a moment, and juuuuust when you're about to hit the "hype" button, you spot something in the corner of your eye that makes you change your mind and say, "Nahh... I just couldn't."

For me, it's cigarettes. Sorry, smokers -- I know it's crappy of me, but when a ciggy becomes part of a look, I just can't in good conscience hype it...

What about you guys?

Definitely swearing or profanity, either in the look title or on the clothes - its just not necessary and it makes it hard to take the person seriously.
I also don't like smoking in pictures, it certainly doesn't make people look "cool"

Looks that break the rules. Looks with duck faces. Profanity.

Oh, and looks that involved underwear as part of the outfit, unless it's a summer outfit. I find it as a bit of a turn-off.

For me, its the place where the photo is taken. If i see a beautiful outfit, but its just taken in a users bedroom surrounded by piles of clothes and magazines, i tend not to hype because i feel they havent made much effort.

A lack of effort going into a post. I make effort to look nice/take decent photos for lookbook. I hate seeing mobile phone mirror shots.

I kinda agree with the photo in the bedroom thing too. Sometimes though i have fallen victim to it, quite often actually, but i'm not one of these who has a person following me round with a camera. if the outfit is nice, should it matter where it is?

- "no-effort" posts. Put a bit of work into it will ya?
- Yup, dirty fingers and swear words don't get hypes
- Offensive, making-fun-of-religion or other-culture pics
- Pics that break rules. Ey, it says it should be 75% of your body and only up to 3 pics (?) pieced together. And get that other person out of the photo. Lookbookers shouldn't be stupid.

I know cigarettes are disgusting but sometimes it adds the effect. But I won't hype it.
I hate the extremely blurry ones and when it's just mirror pics, I mean, the outfit is good but your effort isn't.

For me it's crosses. I hate anything to do with crosses because of how religious my parents are. It's just a personal thing, I don't like crosses AT ALL so if there's a cross in a look I most probably won't hype it

I'm not gonna lie, I think it just looks embarrassing, I once saw a guy's look where he was in a forest, literally floating on his back in some silly pose,

Yet the shocking thing about it was meanwhile whilst I was cringing, It had about 700 hypes.

Photoshopping legs to the point where you look bowlegged - a whole bunch of popular lookbookers do that
Nebula/sparkles/bubbles covering the outfit
Cigarettes
Profanity, and most importantly ...
Fur and leather, because you are essentially displaying a corpse as part of your outfit ... I know some people think its fashionable, but it makes me feel sick and always stops me from hyping an outfit. I especially hate those disgusting tail things that people hang from bags or whatever - not only are they cruel, but they just look stupid. Even if it is the most gorgeous outfit I've seen, I can't hype it if something died for it.

or boring, easily done, unoriginal outfits.
like:
a white t shirt
and jean shorts
and black wedges
long messed up hair
= 1000 hypes on the hot page THE FUCK EVEN.

I would never hype something with buddhist symbols because I'm a buddhist and it offends me that people wear our symbols without even knowing what they mean.
Also, I don't swear. EVER. Not even when they f***ing piss my b***s off.
Oh, and I hate non-smokers too, I think they're disgusting.

I mean COME OOON PEOPLE. Everyone has the right to express themselves, you guys sound like frigging Hitler by saying "no satanic symbols, no swearing..."

I just don't hype when the outfit is too weird or sissy or dolly-kind.

But hey, that's just me.
