I have a Nikon D3100, which I'm clueless about when it comes to the settings on it. (The guide book I recieved with the camera was in another language)

You can get the manual off the Nikon website. I found it here.

Tricks with the features on the Nikon camera? Or how to take pictures using a SLR? Just wanna clear this up so I don't start telling you things you already might know. (:

And btw, the settings will be different for each time you shoot, so the best way to learn is just to go out there and take photos and then review it on the back of your camera quickly, adjust the appropriate settings and shoot again, and compare the shots. After a while you start to get some ideas to what ISO, Aperture and shutter speed you need to set your camera to when you start shooting. It takes time :)
