-A circle made out of salt, seriously! It will keep the demons at bay. This is a must for any ritual, Aleister Crowley told me this when he siezed control of my bowels and communicated with me. Apparently I had been practicing ceremonial magick all wrong, there has to be a circle & may the circle remain unbroken.

-A pen/paper/scribe, someone to write down responses. Automatic writing is a very effective way of communicating with spirits, I would say it works better than an Ouija board actually.

-Offerings for the spirits; wine, weed, sage, opium, whiskey, other alcohlic spirits. It depends on what kind of spirits you are trying to contact. Inebriation also helps with breaking down the dimensional barriers so you can actually vacate this realm and enter another.

-Candles & an operational flame. This is much better than having a flash light, the number of candles might have some effect on results.

I've done some seances in graveyards, there really arn't as many spirits in a graveyard as you would think. But there is bound to be at least one graveyard guardian. I think the best places for seances are locations with some traumatic fucked up events in the past. That residual energy usually lingers for a very long time. Old hospitals, battlefields, brothels, prisons and schools usually have that sort of ill energy. Have a fun seance and keep safe from all the spectral spooks.

I've done Ouiji board too. We got in contact with some spirit, can't remember the name, and we googled the name, and it was some evil spirit that many people come into contact with.
I believe in ghosts etc, I don't believe in God. But I do believe alot of the contact us regular people make is false.

You've got guts if you're going ahead with this.
I find the whole concept of ghosts, spirits and ouija boards intriguing, but I'd rather hear other peoples stories about them than do it myself.
I remember on an old message board I used to go on, a girl used a ouija board in her bathroom and for a few nights after, there would be messages on her steamed up mirror like "my my my", a love heart and two handprints. It was seriously compulsive reading.
