Pretty much all my favourite music is older than me haha.
Being in a jazz band all through high school introduced me to Count Basie. Love. I got a lot of appreciation for his music through playing it as well.

Most of the music I like was done either years before I was born or right around the time of my birth....I don't find myself liking lots of modern music.
The Blues had a baby and they named it Rock 'n Roll.
This album technically came out two months after I was born, but it is fittingly titled "Born Too Late" as I feel like as I was born too late.

Ella Fitzgerald always makes me happy, a breath of fresh city air, I love her. Astrud Gilberto also makes me want to go to some warm place with lots of beaches, which is why I'm trying to convince my parents to let me go to St.Tropez and/or Brasil.
