i have a question.
i don´t get the whole "you are new and your looks are not visible because you are new" thing.

i have tested: my look is visible on the new page (with karmafilter off) for maybe 20 people or something. most of the time its not visible.

so: i tried to get some hypes with commenting, hyping other people, writing in the forum. but still my average is about 5.
my looks are not THAT bad.
i don´t get it. how can i make sure to get enough hypes to get on the new page when nearly nobody is even seeing my looks?

is there anybody with the same problem?

But I'm curious. How did the people in the hot page get to the hot page?

@Beatrice M.

Many of those people are also well-established fashion bloggers, who have a massive following not just through LB, but through their own Blogs, many friends on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media.

If you ever see a look from one of the "hot" people when it's just been posted (within an hour of posting), they often already have close to 100 hypes. That is NOT simply because of regular LB traffic. Those hypes are from many friends who have been alerted to the fact that this look has been posted. Remember, that when you post a look, you can alert people through social media, which will really boost your hype count.

As for me, I do not use this function, as I tend to keep my fashion interests fairly private. I don't share them with my Facebook friends because they wouldn't understand (IMO). It's not that I go out of my way to HIDE anything from anyone, but 99% of my friends certainly don't know I'm on LB, and I'm probably happier that way, even though I get very few hypes overall as a result. Any hypes I DO get have been solely from participating on LB through the forums, or leaving comments, hypes, and hearts for others.
