My first name means something like "the one who follows christ" or something. My middle name is "god is with us". My parents are very religious so that explains it. haha

I took a bunch of Acid, thought about LSD and Ellis Dee and how similar they were, laughed my ass off and decided that it would be a perfect Nome De Guerre for all of the hijinks, culture jamming and musical depravity I get up to.
Plus, its better than calling myself Svene Nebeis, Jez Faust, Kratzikal or any of the other nicknames I've given myself over the years.

I was adopted, and my parents had no clue if I was going to be a girl or a guy. I suppose I would have been named Henry should I have been male; but here I am.
They almost named me Mary, and I'm glad they didn't. Essentially, I wasn't named after anyone - they just sat down with lists of names they liked, and picked one for each gender they agreed on. So, it came upon Carolyn.

My mum's father was orphaned in England during the war, while he was still quite young. When he was in his teens, he came to Canada and had to list his parents' names on his immigration forms, and he didn't know them, so he made them up. He picked Jennifer for his mother.

My first name means "the glow", cause my parents want me to be always happy. My second name, Savannah, was my Dad's choice. He got to know this name when he was reading the news paper one day. I wish it`d be my first name!

it was to be a name beginning with a b, since my family members' initials are a, c, d, e (you know, so it would look nice on the door bell).
then it needed to be turkish since my dad is turkish and he wants it that way! so they looked up turkish names in my sister's (german) primer.
it was between berrin and birsen then, and they chose berrin but the register office wouldnt take that alonce since apparently it sounds like a boys name, so its berrin birsen now!

I was a nameless baby for a week in the hospital, then then decided on Emily, then they changed their mind! So I'm Lydia.
They wanted to name me something which wouldn't rhyme with anything so I wouldn't get picked on, they wanted to call me Ria but they worried I would get called diarrhoea :|
Little did they know that Lydia rhymes with chlamydia.... great.

I My mum was adamant that she was going to call me Caileigh (Which I'm glad she didn't because I know far too many Caileighs) Until she watched a documentary about an old lady called Hannah who used to walk miles and miles everyday for water or something. So I'm named after an old lady who had good self strength and determination.
