Approximately how creeped out are you if someone asks to take your picture on the street?

suppose you're walking in the park, maybe with a friend. just a normal outing.

ahaha :) ive had this done to me a few times when im walking through town, i could tell straight away they were photography students because i had to do the same thing for my photography work. So i wasnt freeked out at all, infact i found it sweet they chose me aha. Aslong as you are polite and explain yourself i think it doesnt come across as creepy. I was really shy the first time i had to go around the streets asking strangers, but i just looked for people who i could tell would understand me to save the embaressment. My friend is more confident then me and chooses older people with little kids, but usually they just look at her weird aha.

Normally I wouldn't be creeped out at all, because when I have my picture taken, it's always been because I'm dressed up or at an event. I would be mildly creeped out if someone wanted a picture on a normal outing, though.

I don't think I would be too creeped out (because I've tried to do that), but it's never happened before.

I've had people asking me to take my picture twice, once for a women's lifestyle magazine and once for two girls' thesis about fashion and identity. So yeah the main focus was on my outfit.
However, two weeks ago, some man came up to me in the store I work at and told me in bad Dutch that he'd like to photograph me because of my unique face (I rly don't have a unique face, maybe more or less a out of the ordinary appearance overall) and that was slightly creepy, probably because it was a man.
So yeah I don't think you should worry. It's only flattering, really.

i'd say yeah, normally just because it's your outfit they want to photograph.
i've had people who look like models ask to photograph me and you feel insane that THEY'D want to photograph YOU, but i've had older men asking to photograph me too and that is kindof weird and i have said no before.
i think you just gotta remember that they're photographing you, you've got clothes on and you're in public. you just gotta smile and let them do it, it can be creepy but it feels great as you walk away and that's what you remember really, not if the guy had a beard or not.

I would say yes if it were myself. If it were one of my younger sisters (16 & 14) I'd really have to think about.

I got asked that once by a photography student... she said she'd email the pictures to me but she never did. I thought it was cool.
She had reflectors and was in a group of students, though.

I wouldn't freak out at all, unless they asked me to take some clothes off or something of the sort. I'd also need to have a way [like this person's cell phone number] of contacting this person because she DID take my picture. About the little ones? well, no, i suppose i wouldn't allow it because i would not want to risk those children's life, what if its for kidnapping purposes?

I would be totally fine with that, I do not know why people would be so uptight about that.

It's a shame how paranoid people naturally are about this.
