How do people see your looks when they can't even see you because of the karma filter?

Hey everyone! I am fairly new here and only just got round to posting my 2nd "look" today. Posted it a short while ago and then noticed it was not appearing in the "new" section". I couldn't understand why and then by chance I moved the karma filter from "strict" to "moderate" and there it was.

I've been on here a while and most of my looks barely ever get seen. It's a bit disheartening, but if you are moderately active on the forums and comment on other people's looks, just hope someone will see them on the right filtered page, or come explore your page after you comment on their looks.

Go to the NEW page and under the American Apparel Banner/Advertisement there's "karma filter [?]: strict / moderate / off".

I'm just chiming in to say that yes, it is really disheartening but I think I'm just going to try to participate, comment on other newish users' looks, and hope for the best, asides from trying to create great photos and looks of course. :)

Ive been on here for a little over a month I think, hey i could be wrong but im fairly new and am obsessed with LB. but heres what ive been doing. i turned my karma filter off. If you hype those looks when the filter is off and u genuinely think its a good one then that person will be more thankful and will check u out! it helps everyone :)
