What's the most hypes you've received on a look?

Personally I don't receive many hypes on my looks, the most I've received is 11, but I don't think the hypes are important, Lookbook is about inspiration and appreciation for people who love fashion and photography. But what do you think, do you think hypes are important, what's the most hypes you've received on one look, and do you think you should be getting more hypes?

Mmmm... I think hypes are not all, but for me it's something like a ''prize'', I think hypes show you that some people like your outfits and your effort to make them as nice as possible, and if you got more hypes, maybe you feel that you're in the right way.
I don't know exactly how to explain it, but I think it's something like that :P
Anyways, hypes are not all. If you feel good with your outfits, go! :)
Mmm... I think the most hypes I received in a look is 8...

Hypes aren't the most important thing, but they are nice! :)

I do feel like hypes show you that other people out there like your looks and it obviously feels good when you get more hype :) I had a look at your look and I liked it so that's one more hype. But I still feel that as long as you keep posting and you like your looks then it doesn't really matter too much. The most I've received on a look was 12, not much but ah well! I'll keep posting and whether I ever get more or not I just like being on lookbook because we get to share something with the rest of the lookbookers and as you said, it's all about inspiration and appreciation :)

I agree with Rachel, fashion is an art form and celebration of ones individual style and sense of aesthetics, in my opinion.

I just had to check and it seems to be 63, the highest, but I think it´s up to lookbookers to decide if i "should be" getting more hypes or not. I have my own specific style and it shown very well in my looks. I think I´m a bit too old to care about hypes that much haha (there are a lot of young people in here ;) but of course it´s nice to have a comment/hype from someone. it kinda feels that my look speaks to them in some way, at least I hope so. I feel like I put pieces of my life/me in my looks and that the looks and the moments they´ve been taken have so much more meaning that anyone can understand, naturally.
One thing is, I dont follow the trends really ( i do enjoy fashion so i naturally know what they are but usually dont like them that much/purchase the clothes i like whether it´s a trend or not) and it seems like there are quite a lot of people here/everywhere on the streets who do follow them, some, not all. And just my opinion whether anyone agrees with me or not, but i think using current "hot" trends do affect peoples likes/dislikes and therefor amount of hypes as well.
But I do think lb, it´s finest, is about peoples voices coming out. That you can see their personality and/or their moods/emotions/life periods/view on life through their look. I think that´s what inspires me the most about this site since I´ve been here (1,5 year). I think that is pretty awesome.

54... but it wasn't my fav look. I think the hypes must mean something because the whole of lookbook can't be completely wrong, but then again if you like your looks then it doesn't really matter if only a few other people like them too. And about the 'do you think you should be getting more hypes?' bit, I'm not entirely sure. I really have no clue as to whether my looks are being under/over-hyped! XD

Most I've gotten so far is 44 on my Halloween contest look, which sort of proves the point I made in another topic that most users only look at the "hot" page and pages that are advertised on the main page, lol. I don't stand a chance of ever making it to the hot page so I guess Halloween is it for me. :P
