So i've started to do a little extra editing with my looks by adding an extra layer to give my photos a glittery/starry look.

I think it looks okay as long as its not too much, or really obviously edited.
I wouldn't have it on my own photos though. I prefer natural ones, like Addie said.

Fuck no. Keep that shit for tumblr, lookbook is about fashion, not about joining in on every hipster fad. Or at least it shouldn't be.

it makes me less inclined to hype it, to be honest. it looks appealing sometimes, but i dont see the point of using it when most of the time it obstructs the person's outfit/doesn't fit with the general look of the outfit.

It's fun to fool around with but I wouldn't use it on lookbook....it's kind of distracting.

I like it but... its too distracting. Its like, do i hype it cause its a good effect? does the look actually appeal to me? I just stay away from them, but I do really really like the effect :)

No. The problem with this site is people seem to think that it somehow has something to do with graphic design.
This is supposed to be about fashion, not some stupid photoshop contest.
(And if it were, the starry effect would be getting pretty old.)

It looks tacky and doesn't really show off fashion that well.
Then again, I hate most digital manipulations so maybe I'm being a grumpy git.

Too common now.
I think its fun but, I think it takes away from the outfit on most pictures.
But for facebook, tumblr or something I'd say it's fine.
