Anybody have any predictions for fall and winter 2010? I'm not a big dresser of trends, but i find them really interesting.

Or perhaps, trends you'd like to see this fall and winter?

I posted in another thread about turtlenecks which i don't see often anymore. I used to hate them when i was younger, but i i'd like to own a nice black one.

I think the whole 'hipster' style is going to go fully mainstream in the UK for fall and winter, it's just started being noticed more by people, it'll probably catch on as people already think it's "cool".

So a lot of 'indie' clothes I think... Just IMO.

Yea I honestly don't really like when things that I'm into go mainstream. It bugs me. But agreed with Emma O.

Military was quite in last season, I saw a lot of them in the sales in Debenhams.

I also hate it when things I like come into fashion, it makes it look like I'm just doing them for the trend and that I'm then 'outdated' when it goes out of fashion and I'm still wearing it.

definitely parkas/army jackets, and capes and trenches.
there's guna be a lot of beige/cream colours, and skinny waist belts are guna be huuuge judging from a lot of a/w collections this year.

i agree with a lot of the above, trenches & capes will be big. again, faux fur is always big.
as for colours, warm autumny colours, soft, matt, nothing bright, some darks. the only bright things will be like gold/silver jewelry pieces.
i'll be happy if gold is 'big'. & I've always wanted a nice trench.

More florals? I'm really hoping not, but that trend just won't die.

@Jazz N.

i'm okay with florals, but it's starting to be a bit overkill. fine for spring and summer, but i reeeeally hope not in winter/fall.
