I think it looks cute for the summer def. pair with like a nice brown belt to define the waistline.
I personally find dresses with that neckline shape don't look good on me but ive seen it work on other people so wouldn't take my word on that lol.

ya I tend to hate my shoulders so I avoid highlighting them (most of my dresses are either sleeved or strapless)

If you have broad shoulders, the bottom might not flare out enough to balance out your top half. But it's a cute dress! :D Pockets = yay!

I've seen your looks and don't think your shoulders are too broad, they're nicely proportionate to the rest of your body. The colour will pop against your tanned skin too! You'll look really sweet :)
