I'm currently studying french and it's been my dream to speak it fluently since i was 8 :] Has anyone learned french as a second language and have any tips? I heard traveling is the best way to practice. 3 years ago |

im learning french at the moment, i find the best way to learn large quantities of french is to talk to a french exchange student, and them help you with your accent.
another method i use, especially before exams, is that i write the french down, then translate it into english, and then (without looking) back to french.
it soon sticks ... if that makes sense?

hahahaha so true
and just immerse yourself in french.
watching french tv-shows/movies with french subtitles really helps.
especially movies you've already seen so the story is easier to follow.

I am also learning French these days. I have always studied by myself through internet or some books for a few years but in March, I will continue my study at a language school in Paris. You've got to be in France in order to practice and learn it for good.
