Shopping in Germany!

I'm visiting Germany in the summer and spending the majority of my time in Leipzig, Municha and of course visiting Berlin. What are some of the great shopping places that are not chain retail stores) in Germany?

i dont know about the shops in leipzig, but i know a few in berlin.
besides the bigger shopping places like the Kurfürstendamm or the Alexanderplatz you should definitely pay a visit to the area around Hackescher Markt / Oranienburger Straße. there are lots of vintage shops, my favourite one is "Made in Berlin", they offer high quality vintage and stuff from undiscovered designers, i think.
