I think it would be cool to send letters to each other since I see so many different cultures collide on this website. It's simply glorious! Having a pen pal would be totally awesome and I think there's just something more and special about actually receiving a physical letter in the mail rather than getting it electronically.

I would love to do that, it sounds like a great idea. I love getting mail, there's nothing better than ripping open a letter (invitations, thank you notes, whatever) or getting a magazine.

I could help out with the arranging. I'm very well organized and I enjoy organizing stuff!
I was thinking we could create a website/blogger where people sign up and contact other members if they want to be pen pals with you. From there, you two can exchange addresses.

Please do make note that I'm busy with AP exams and finishing up some homework, just in case it takes a while. In the meantime, you can help out by advertising. :)

I don't mean to sound snobbish or racist or anything, but I think I'd only do i with someone who speaks English as a first language. A lot of the time on here, I see people replying in English and I just can't work out what they are trying to say.
But hell yeah, other than that, sure.

I agree about the age thing, I don't really that comfortable with someone a lot older than me (or younger for that matter) having my address.
Also, we should definitely do a system of solutes - whereby everyone taking part writes out their LB url on a sheet of paper and takes a clear photo of themselves with it, to show they are definitely them.

I write letters to my friends in houston since i've moved and I've kept it up pretty well.
I'd like someone who's 18+ though, if that's at all possible.

In high school my friend and I used to send letters to each other in the mail--even though we saw each other every day in school. It was really fun. Snail mail is overlooked.

I'm categorized and tagged correctly but under my picture it has the wrong birth year!
And just another suggestion, I think it'd be kind of cool if it was separated by state. I think it'd be more interesting to talk to someone in a totally different region.
