This is probably already known out there, but i've heard of/seen some photos of the thinner people and models on here being used as thinspo. For those who don't know, thinspiration is media (movies, music, pictures, books, ect.) that encourages people who already have eating disorders like anorexia to continue in their goal to be thinner, as in something to strive for "if she can do it, then i can, i can be like her".

What do you think? I find it depressing :[

Also, do you think being thinner would make you look better, or worse? I see how many people would say better, but are there any who'd say worse?

It's sad but it doesn't surprise me the least bit.

And I've lost weight sorta mysteriously over the past year... and I hate it. It just doesn't look right and none of my pants fit me anymore :(

I posted a thread about this months ago-- It got like 100 replies but I was tired of people commenting on it when my thread was like waayyy old and i was still getting comments about it ME--They too busy talking about my situation than talking about the topic that I was trying to bring to their attention. [so i deleted it]

Honestly I look at a lot of thinspo, but not on lookbook--I HATE it when I see people's lookbook pics used as thinspo because I know those girls didn't ask permission to take their pics and use them on pro-ana sites...ughh ..it's very annoying

and they had this one girl who was using A lookbook user's photo as herself claiming she lost weight and got the down to this size blah blah blah-- it's like bitch..do you not think some girls with eating disorders visit lookbook--if you're going to pretend to be someone your not at least have the same name.

but anyways --yeah it thinks it's annoying.

Yeah, it's sad. I think a step in the right direction would be to get rid of all the asinine, cutesie, eating disorder related words. Unfortunately, they'll just have to disappear on their own.

I'm thinking of doing my dissertation on this whole phenomenon.
