Fuck Yeah!

I can understand why a girl would like Sabbath, they're heavy and menacing sounding and they paved the way for all of the metal & punk that has followed since. My mom has told me about how she first heard her brothers Black Sabbath album when she was in grade 2 and how that introduced her to a completely new form of music....new in 1971.

Paranoid heavily influenced me growing up....especially how Tony Iommi made good use of his missing fingers, not to mention playing left handed(I do) Sabbath were one of the first bands to use altered tunings, down a half, whole or even two whole steps.....for low and dangerous sounds & tones.

I'm glad I'm not so much of a musical dinosaur and that other people can dig the shit that is my bread & butter.

hell yes. thats pretty kewl about your mum. i know its amazing how he not onyl coped with his hands, but made it his own.

I can think of other females I know who like Black Sabbath, its all a matter of the kind of associations one makes in life.

I always forget about their chilled out shit, Planet Caravan is an unearthly song.

Ever heard of the Black Smiths? They do Black Sabbathy covers of Smiths songs or Smith-like covers of Black Sabbath songs.....I forget....but I do remember "How Sweet Is Leaf?"
