Tell me about it, I'm really sick and bored.

My two are tied.
Sigur Ros at Massey Hall - I was on the main floor of a small venue, the acoustics were amazing, and the show was mind-blowing. The band was flawless live and at the end, when singing their most happy sounding song, cannons shot confetti out on the crowd. I can still picture that moment clear in my mind.
Stars at the Queen Elisabeth Theater - I've been waiting to see Stars for four years and they did not disappoint. They played all of my favourite songs, they sounded amazing live, and I was happy beyond belief the entire time.

I really loved Gavin DeGraw, because I met him afterwards & he was so so nice! Plus it was outside on a summer evening when it was breezy & nice, and the sound was great. The Spin Doctors opened.
But I'm seeing Owl City this month, so maybe that will take top spot. =]

Mine was Crystal Castles, Ulteria, These New Puritans and the Horrors. Amazing time. I went on my own and when I went home, I made loads of friends. Very good night. It was the NME Awards shows at the London Astoria. Just a great night to remember!

So jealous that you got to see The Horrors. They're coming round my city in May but I'm not old enough to go. They always look really amazing live!

The best show I've seen was Mono followed by Fly Pan Am @ Amigos here in s'toon back in 2004. To this day it remains the loudest show I have ever been to, it must have gone to at least 130 DB, my shirt collar was shaking from the frequencies being strummed out by Mono, they managed to not only blow my mind but convince me that Music is the Weapon of the Future. Fly Pan Am were an amazingly chaotic clash of guitar noise, polyrhythmic drumming and gnarly synth sounds with french singing. They put so much good energy into the performance that I will forever remain indebted to Fly Pan Am & Mono for completely destroying the ideas I had about music.
The Pixies were my first show, I was really elated when I saw them, I sang along to all their songs and experienced true joy.
The worst show ever was the New Pornographers, they sounded like crap, were boring and Destroyer did not live up to his moniker. I was gravely disappointed.

Mayhem festival 2008. I went for my 20th birthday. And I had a broken foot. So my bestfriends pushed me around in a wheelchair. Because I was inpaired, we got to sit on this little highrise area so we got 360 degree view. It was amazing. great topic by the way.

Seeing Patrick Wolf was amazing for me because I love him so much. But performance-wise, the best shows I've been to are Daft Punk, My Bloody Valentine, and Girl Talk.

The Faint, by far. I've seen them twice and both times I danced until I had blisters on my feet :]
Of Montreal was also really fun, MGMT opened for them too.
and uhh Portishead live was incredible, along with Bjork.
oh and how could i forget Gnarls Barkley & the Violent Femmes (both were free shows at del mar & rocked).

My Chemical Romance. I wasn't even a fan, but it was my first concert and, ohmygosh, the atmosphere was amazing. I was so tired from walking around all day prior to the concert. Being in a dark venue that was completely filled with people who were getting lost in the sound just made me forget about how my feet were killing me. It felt like being connected to everyone in the room.
Anberlin comes super close. It was at the past Warped Tour and I thought I had missed them but they played last and acoustic because of weather issues. I was just happy to catch them in the pouring rain.

Minus The Bear. It was so amazing, they even played a few songs acoustically. I sat/stood on the wall of the venue and completely lost myself in the music.

yeah, the cover to their new album (or at least the cover Amazon displays) is really gross. They've usually had pretty good album covers.
I love with iTunes how you can use cover art. All the little digital album covers make me extremely happy.

My Bloody Valentine (NOT Bullet for my Valentine) has been the best. 130+ decibels.
But I think Animal Collective may change that in May.

kings of leon was the most recent one, and i really enjoyed myself.
but i loved Coldplay with their Viva la Vida tour, they got like 50 feet away from me in the audience and preformed one of my favourite coldplay songs. they had a little stage set up where seats shouldve been. amazing.

I heard that in the old days, MBV used to put the PA speakers on milk crates and turn them out towards the audience in order to subject them to loud, impossible to digest, guitar feedback.
Loudest shows are the best shows.
