I totally agree with you. It's not really about looks, it's about 'looks'. Sometimes a look is just completely rubbish, yet the one who posted it gets tons of hypes for having a pretty face.

agree completely. before I joined I'd seen a few really individual, creative and unique looks (a great photo as well taken with an slr) that really stand out but they would only have 50-100 hypes...and then one of the popular lookbookers wearing a simple dress and heels that if not for the actual person would have barely got 30 hypes.

but I never hype people based on their physical appearance, whoever it was, someone new or very popular, I always hype the looks I like based on the actuall creativity of the look :)

yeah I'm actually quite hesitant to post a few looks I have..however they are colorful so :P love colour!! black is so boring. may as well drape a black sheet over yourself and call it artistic.

I am so sick of seeing the same damn unoriginal outfit on lookbook. A simple dress or high-waisted shorts and a tee. This doesn't inspire me. Anyone can wear that. It's what else you wear that should be here, or making those boring outfits AWESOME.

not gonna lie, i tend to hype looks with basic outfits but nice photography without thinking much about it. i can understand how it frustrates people but for me lookbook's all about inspiration, not just fashion.
