So, we've had the top 3 albums of 2008 thread, what does everyone tip for great musical heights in 2009?
To kick things off, I'll tip Kid Acne, a graffitti artist who's dipped his toe into the experimental UK hip-hop. Brilliant. It's not normally the kind of thing I'm into (being more of an indie kid) but something about it just grabbed me.
I know Little Boots just got hotly tipped to be the next big thing in 2009, what do you think? She dresses well...

I'm tipping:
- Dâm-Funk: check out his remix of Baron Zen's "Burn Rubber". Debut album coming in 2009...
- Dorian Concept: a great alternative hip-hop beatmaking wizard from Austria. Check out his track The F***ing Formula.
- Heartsrevolution: a really high energy electro duo. They have released a few singles and EPs since last year. The stand out tracks so far for me is "Ultraviolence" (on Kitsune Maison Compilation 6) and the Lazaro Casanova remix of "C.Y.O.A." (on the C.Y.O.A. EP)
- La Roux. I know her breakthrough song is "Quicksand". It didn't really grab me to be honest, but listen to what happened when Beni got his hands on it!
I agree about Little Boots. Seen her live twice and she rocked it! (along with Heartbreak - they are an amazing electro/disco duo, who must be seen live to be believed!)
